Your profile:

  • you are keen to develop your skills, crea­ti­vity and perso­na­lity — and want to demons­trate this in a renowned hotel and with discer­ning inter­na­tional guests
  • some initial profes­sional expe­ri­ence in a la carte and banquet service
  • success­fully completed hotel manager or restau­rant manager trai­ning
  • know­ledge and theory of products and mate­rials (HACCP)
  • inde­pen­dent and self-reliant working style
  • commit­ment, flexi­bi­lity, capa­city for team­work and good ability to handle stressful situa­tions
  • passio­nate about our wonderful profes­sion

Your tasks:

  • mis en place approach to working for the high-end service sector
  • carrying out all aspects of service work “from the word go”: gree­ting, cloa­kroom service, placing guests, offe­ring aperi­tifs
  • recom­men­ding food and drinks
  • atten­ding to the guests with a cordial, committed manner, discre­tion where necessary
  • wine recom­men­da­tions
  • moni­to­ring of hygiene in the restau­rant; table linen, office area in coope­ra­tion with the house­kee­ping staff
  • respon­si­bi­lity for hand­ling cash using the system in the restau­rant, hand­ling of bills and payment tran­sac­tions
  • super­vi­sion of trai­nees and temporary staff
